OPERATION BLESS THE BLUE

Have you ever thought to yourself, "How can I bless my local law enforcement agency this Christmas?"

Throughout my time as a law enforcement officer, I've seen the community answer this question in one primary way.... food.

I have no problem with communities thanking their local law enforcement in this way, but it really only impacts the individuals working on that specific day. Not only that, but it doesn't point officers to the true reason behind the season.

The heart behind this outreach is to impact each individual officer and dispatcher of an agency with a Christmas gift. Not just a monetary gift, but a gift that can impact them spiritually. A gift that points them to Jesus Christ, the greatest gift ever given to mankind.

The Scriptural foundation for this can be found in 1 Timothy 2:1-3 which says, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, AND GIVING OF THANKS be made to all men, for Kings, AND ALL WHO ARE IN AUTHORITY, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Weapons of Righteousness Ministries started this outreach in 2022 as a way for the body of Christ to support and encourage law enforcement and dispatchers during the Christmas season. The ultimate vision of this outreach is to present every law enforcement officer and dispatcher within the US a gift package on Christmas saying "Thank You" for their service. Obviously this is a huge vision that can only be accomplished through individuals, churches, and businesses across the nation rising up in support of their local law enforcement.

Operation Bless the Blue gives you the unique opportunity to personally impact the life of an individual officer and dispatcher. With a financial donation of $65 you can support an officer or a dispatcher with the following gift package:

• An Encouraging Thank-You Letter Written by a Law Enforcement Supporter
